English time has to be dynamic, attractive and super fun! So the little ones have the opportunity to meet Ladybug and enjoy different activities that will be awesome for their learning process.
Children feel more comfortable and confident when they know what to expect. So, first of all they sit down in a circle and they do the “Hello song” to start their English time. Teacher Lara and Blanca have four or five flashcards upside down and they pick them up one by one, and they sing and dance the song that corresponds. They also do the “Good morning song” and give a big hug to our lovely Ladybug!
They used to repeat the same routine in order to learn some songs, words and that’s why repetition is essential: children need to hear words so many times before they feel ready to produce them themselves.
